Specialist Construction and Fabrication Services
- Our fabrication facilities are strategically located within Ulsan’s industrial area. Our in-house suite of services and solutions include procurement, fabrication, supply, installation and commissioning.
- With capacity to fabricate steel products, and with convenient access to major industrial sites, we have manufactured, tested and commissioned some of module packages fabricated steel structures.
- Our operations support a range of integrated fabrication and maintenance services, with workshop capabilities supporting piping, structural steel works and heavy plate fabrication.
- Our extensive staging facility, additional facilities for peak manning levels and large onsite office facilities enable us to complete self-performing fabrication projects at the one location, maximising project efficiencies and providing clients with delivery certainty.
Field Construction

Dragon M&E (DME) strive to minimize risk exposure in field construction by fabricating as much as possible in the shop. Even if fabrication is completed by others, we often find ways to save our clients money by making simple adjustments. Once construction is complete, our commissioning team assures these assets get up and running as quickly and safely as possible. We make sure our clients can maximize their return on investment by avoiding unnecessary delays in start-up. DME’s field services include structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, commissioning and start-up. We have a vast fleet of equipment and can quickly mobilize at any site.

PRIME CONTRACTDME’s comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment Management System (HSEMS) enables us to operate our greenfield construction sites as prime contractor. To date, our field construction projects have a consistent record of 0 LTIs. The DME HSEMS supports and facilitates this achievement, although the real success is attributed to the knowledgeable, long-term DME personnel that manage our construction sites and demonstrate their commitment to the safety of our people.

MINIMIZING FIELD EFFORTSOur team of construction personnel are experts at transferring scope from the field to the fabrication shop. This is an effective way to reduce costs, improve schedule, improve quality, and reduce exposure. As an example, DME has developed survey tactics to accurately capture tie-in locations such as wellheads. These techniques eliminate the need to perform pressure welding in the field.

COMMISSIONING & START-UPDME’s CSU personnel are experts at streamlining mechanical completion, commissioning and start-up activities to achieve early production. We understand the importance of getting our client’s investments to production as expeditiously as possible to maximize value. We partner with our clients during the commissioning stage so their operators are well trained and familiar with plant before they receive custody at hand-over. This reduces the possibility of incurring unnecessary outages or plant trips during the ramp-up phase of the facility.
Service and Maintenance
We perform shutdowns, turnarounds and campaign maintenance projects of all sizes, ensuring safe, timely and efficient delivery at all times. We provide support for planned upgrades together with emergency maintenance and repairs.
Our experienced team provides professional and rigorous planning and preparation to minimise the impact on production within live plant and Brownfield environments.
We can provide single or specialist trade support to complement the core skills at a location or site. This support is supplied as self-managed work group reporting directly to a client manager and working with our tooling / plant. We utilise our company procedures alongside client systems to achieve successful delivery and compliance.
Managed maintenance serviceAvailable to our clients on a long-term basis, this service is structured to provide an operational interface with an integrated team approach. It is accountable to our client contract manager who works with our tooling / plant whilst utilising our procedures alongside client systems.
Our multidiscipline teams can include:
- Site Managers / Superintendents
- On-site support (such as administration, QA / QC, planning, HSE and estimating staff)
- Trade supervision
- Trade work groups
- Trade support (trades assistants, stores, crane, plant and equipment operators).
Our services are structured to provide an operational interface, with an integrated team approach and is accountable to a client contract manager.

Dragon M&E provides a wide range of offshore project support services, including offshore vessel chartering & supply for offshore construction, transportation, repairing and equipment rental service. Especially chartering of offshore vessels is one of our core business.
Our broker team has many years of experience in brokering offshore support vessels and DME is today the largest offshore shipbroker in Korea working for the offshore Renewable and Oil & Gas industry.
